WowSkills runs weekend kids woodworking classes in Cambridge, Ontario. This policy explains, in plain English, what information we collect, why we collect it and how we protect it. We follow Canada’s privacy law for businesses (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Parent or guardian contact details: name, email address and phone number.
- Your child’s first name and age.
- Allergy notes or anything else you choose to tell us about your child.
- Booking details and payment status (for example, whether the deposit is paid). We do not store card numbers.
- Details you send in our forms, such as a party date, address or school name.
Why we collect it
We use this information only to run classes, parties and workshops, to keep children safe, and to contact you about your booking. If you ask us to tell you about new class dates or products, we use your email only for that, and we remove it whenever you ask.
Who we share it with
We never sell your data. Payments are handled by the payment provider you choose (for example, your bank for Interac e-Transfer). Our website host stores the website and its data. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
Cookies
Our website uses a few basic cookies so the cart and checkout work. The map on our Location page is provided by Google Maps, which may set its own cookies when it loads.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we need them for our classes and for tax and accounting rules, then we delete them.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you and your child. Send us a request through the contact form and we will reply within 30 days.
