Real tools. Real skills. Real proud.

WowSkills started in Waterloo Region with a simple idea: kids learn best with their hands. When a child measures a board, saws it straight and builds something that works, they feel it — that “wow, I made this!” moment.

We teach real life skills in small, safe groups: starting with woodworking, because building something real with your hands teaches patience, focus and pride. Every project is designed by us and tested before it reaches a class.

Weekend classes at our Cambridge workshop; for events, we come to you.

Our 5 safety rules

  1. Glasses on whenever a tool is out.
  2. The clamp holds the wood. Hands never hold wood you are sawing or drilling.
  3. Tools stay on the table. Never walk with a tool.
  4. Power tools and glue guns are for the instructor only.
  5. Closed-toe shoes. Long hair tied back.
